Alianza Shire has been working since 2014 to promote energy solutions that improve services and the quality of life of the inhabitants of Ethiopia’s refugee camps.
👥We are the first multi-stakeholder partnership in the humanitarian field in Spain and our mission is to improve living conditions in the refugee camps and host communities by enhancing local capacity, creating livelihood opportunities and improving access to basic services using cross-cutting impacts of energy. Formed in 2014, Alianza Shire is composed by three leading Spanish companies in the renewable energy and lighting sector – **acciona.org,** Iberdrola and Signify -, the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID) and the Innovation and Technology for Development Centre at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (itdUPM).
✅ We believe that our experience can be valuable for other stakeholders. We want to share it with you!
📑Here you will find the impact and learning reports generated during the different phases in which the multi-stakeholder partnership has been developed.
🤓You will also find scientific production materials derived from our participation in congresses and articles, as well as other activities developed at the itdUPM level.
